4ze1 to trimatic conversion option 1 (stock 4ze1 flex plate)

This kit is to retain the stock 4ze1 automatic flex plate in a gemini trimatic conversion with the use of a gemini torque converter. (Option 1)

The kit contains:

Flex plate to crank bolts (arp).

Stater motor spacer to meet the ring gear distance correctly.

starter motor bolts.

Spigot bush to suit crank to torque converter.

Crank to flex plate spacer. 

To install:

1.remove the stock flex plate bolts, flex plate and crank spacer and spigot bush.

2.Re install our spigot bush until the larger edge sits flush with the outer edge of the crank.

3. Fit new 1/4 chub crank spacer and align bolt holes.

4.fit standard flex plate and use provided arp bolts. Tighten to 57 ft-lbs in a criss cross pattern tightening bolts evenly in multiple stages.

5. Your ready to fit your gemini trimatic to your 4ze1.

6 when fitting starter motor place the spacer on the starter and fit as normal using longer bolts provided in which ever directions suit you best at the time. (Use 4ze1 starter motor).
